I think the blog is a good idea to improve my English. In the school I haven’t got much time for this subject so my English is very basic. This activity is very difficult for me because I didn’t practice this language at school or had the experience of speaking this language in the daily life so this activity is very difficult for me. I read all my classmates´ comments. Also, I comment on their blogs. I think this would be better if this activity was in pairs because I could learn more and better with other people. I like writing about books, sports and movies because they are my favourite topics. This activity helped me to improve my English, but, to learn better I need more hours and spend more days in this activity. Maybe I need to enroll in an institute which teaches this language. Another form to learn this language is to travel to other country because this language is very important to my career, much information about this career is only found in English. My personal evaluation is positive, I learn very much English in comparison to last year, but I need to learn very much to speak , read and specially write this language in the future.

This site has 5 sections. The first section presents site and its history. also it refers to the management of the faculty researchers, and their lines of research. The second section discusses the current and completed projects. The third section discusses the courses taught at this faculty. Short courses such as diplomas and Masters courses longer as in various subject taught. Another section discusses the events held in this faculty. These events are specifically taught academic conference of the academic institution as well guests from Chile and around the world. Finally, the last section is a virtual library, where there are documents and books to download freely and without cost

 

 I always seek information necessary for my career it can be found here, mainly complete books. but I use it more often when I do group work and need specific documents

 

I like this site because it is easy to use. sections are clearly specified and is easy to find information. Use the section that is where I can download books and information.  

 

 

Today I am going to talk about my favourite band of music. This band is los prisioneros. This group begins in 1982. I like their songs because they speak about the political Chilean situation, specifically critical about the military government. Secondly, I like this band because their members are from San Miguel, this point is important, because in general, the artists are from the elite group. This group of artists, Los Prisioneros, studied at a Free State school and only Jorge Gonzales studied at the university but only one year. The members of this band learned to play music with elementary instruments because they didn´t have any money to buy instruments more sophiscated. In 1989 this band split but they came back in 2001 and launched “Estadio nacional” and their next and last launching was the disc,” Manzana”. The legacy of this band is very important, not only in Chile, also in South America, especially in Peru. 

  

This picture was taken by my friend Francisco in the house of my friend Sebastian. This picture shows some of my friends and me. This picture was taken on 4 of July of 2015. That day and moment are important because in that picture we celebrated the championship of Chile in Copa America, Chile 2015.I like soccer and the news about this sport, so this picture is a great moment for all the fanatics of this sport in Chile. In the local championship I follow  Universidad de Chile and I try going to the stadium all the weekends, in my family everyone is a supporter of this sport, so I think about this interest in  soccer is due to a tradition of my family, all my cousins go to  the stadium since their birth. Finally I think football is a great sport for all, and I hope that our selections again win a championship. 

 

People learn about environmentally friendly practices in many places. One place is the school, where children learn about caring nature anywhere, and as adults maybe at the university and though the media, such as television and internet.

I have incorporated recycling in my habits. I recycle all types of plastic and glass I use in my daily life. I think this cause is very important for our country and the world. It is my way of contributing to environment. I have no car or bike, then, I do all the activities with my legs. I have not joined any ecological organization, because at this time it is not a priority for me. Early in my college career I used to help vegetable garden. My form to reduce the carbon footprint is not using the heating of my house and avoids using the bus when it is possible use the legs.  

Santiago is a city very contaminated. I think Santiago needs reduce to cars in the city, also reduce industries and the number of buses. But, I think the most necessary think is to reduce the pollution produced in the houses, because this form of pollution is the principal form to pollute in the world. Also,  people in general in this country need education about this topic, and the  importance of environmentally  for the future. 

At the moment I am a student of sociology. I would like to work in the sociology of education. Educational sociology is to investigate all issues related to education in our country and in the world. In the future I hope to work in many different places, office, outdoors, colleges. All places where education is delivered. I imagine this work as very exciting because I hope to help many people. Furthermore, I think that it is a very entertaining job. I think this job can be applied both in the office and outdoors, I personally like more outdoors. I would like to travel thanks to my job, because I think it is best to be in constant motion. In the future, I would like to follow a master’s degree on sociology of education or sociology of culture. The sociology of culture is very interesting because it studies  every Western culture. My main interest is to study the Chilean culture and its characteristics

Another thing I like is studying psychology. I think psychology is a very interesting career to study the human mind and human behavior. I find this very interesting because I think it is important to understand the reasons for the behavior of human beings. Finally, I would like to study this career that closely related to sociology. 

My favourite piece of technology is my galaxy tab.this piece is similar to the sum of a computer and smart phone. Its main feature is its portability. I have this tablet since 2012. I use it for study. I use it for play with my sister. I use it for listening music. I use it to watch movies. I use it for read books and write articles and finally I use it to wake. I use it almost every day. I like it because it is an advanced piece of technology and easy to use. It has large storage capacity and an intuitive interface. This piece of technology is very important for my life, without it my life would have serious complications because I am now very dependent on this device in all my daily life activities.
